Woman dies after being attacked by ‘pack of dogs’
The latest attack comes after a Queensland woman was also mauled to death by three dogs last month.
Police were called to Maryborough, north of the Sunshine Coast, on June 6 after reports a woman was being mauled by a pack of dogs in the yard of a home.
It is believed the dogs belonged to someone else and the woman had been taking care of them.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, the woman died at the scene.
She suffered serious injuries to her head, chest, and one arm, according Nine News.
The dogs, believed to be cross breeds, were corralled into a shed and have since been removed by the local council.
Speaking to reporters at the scene, Acting Inspector Wade Lee said it was a “tragic accident”.
