For 2018, the Highland Games competition will be operated by nationally ranked thrower Adam Sizemore. We’re thrilled to have Adam with us this year to elevate the games.

Registration for the full athletics competition will open August 1, and will close September 1. Registrations must be received before September 1. The field will consist of 12 Amateur Athletes, 12 Master Athletes, and 4 Elite Women* chosen by order of registrations received. Athletes that are registered but do not make the top 12 will be notified and placed on a waiting list.

Athletic competition will begin at 9:00 am Saturday September 22 with the check-in beginning at 8:00 am. Events will include: Open Stone, Heavy Weight for Distance, Light Weight for Distance, Heavy Hammer, Caber, Sheaf, and Weight Over Bar (spinning allowed). Lunch will be provided.
