The puppy, now named Rene under the shelter’s care, received immediate attention from a veterinarian to assess his condition. The veterinarian discovered a fractured tail and administered treatment for parasites while ensuring a thorough check-up. The shelter staff acknowledged the additional expenses and effort but emphasized that the dog’s safety was their top priority.
Rene remained under Xollin shelter’s compassionate care until the day he found a forever home. Each year, the shelter welcomes hundreds of abandoned cats and dogs, all yearning for the love and care they so desperately need. The shelter staff expressed their hope that more people would open their hearts and homes to pets in need, much like the young boy who took a courageous stand for his furry friend.
